The Healthcare Systems Engineering program is available for you to start in any of our 3 semesters: fall, spring or summer. The receipt of your completed application will determine which semester you are admitted for.
DEADLINE INFORMATION:
The HSE program operates on a rolling admission basis. The deadlines below are the very latest you can apply for a semester. We recommend, however, applying earlier to allow for all the pieces of your application to arrive and to secure a spot in the semester you are hoping to join.
Fall semester – apply up to 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester - see academic calendar.
Spring semester – apply up to 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester - see academic calendar.
Summer semester – apply up to 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester - see academic calendar.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR COMPLETE APPLICATION:
- Completed online application
- Letters of reference (2)
- Transcripts – from all college/universities attended
- Interview with Director, in person or skype.
GRE, GMAT and MCAT scores are not required, but encouraged. They can be uploaded into your application in the additional materials section.
TOEFL scores, if applicable
Application fee $75
Note: You can submit your application once complete. You need not wait for the letters to arrive. The program coordinator will update you as the pieces arrive.
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent foreign degree required and at least one of the following:
- Minimum GPA from undergrad is at least 2.75 out of 4.00
- Have a GPA of at least 3.00 for the last two semesters of undergraduate study;
- GPA of at least 3.00 in a minimum of 12 hours of graduate work at other institutions.
International Students must have minimum TOEFL scores:

Listening - 15
Speaking - 20
Writing - 20
