Marc DeLuca, M.Eng.HSE
Marc DeLuca is a healthcare systems engineer and U.S. Risk Management Lead, at Sanofi North America. Prior to that, he was Senior Manager, REMS Programs at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Marc has spent over 14 years as a risk management consultant at ParagonRx and inVentiv Health Clinical, applying various quality risk management methods, developing strategies, and implementation for client related risk management initiatives. Blending his knowledge of systems engineering with his broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, Marc has been involved in a range of activities involving project management, risk assessment, process development, process improvement, program implementation, and evaluation of clinical studies and risk minimization programs. Marc now manages and oversees risk management and Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) activities for Teva Specialty Medicines.
Marc received a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering (HSE) from Lehigh University. Marc is also an active member of the Lehigh HSE Industry Advisory Council applying his HSE and professional experiences to enhance the HSE program for current and future students.
